Appeals against standards committee decisions

Elected and co-opted members can make an appeal to the Adjudication Panel for Wales against a decision, by an authority’s standards committee, that the member has breached the authority’s statutory code of conduct.

Our form, to appeal against a decision of a standards committee, can be downloaded by using the links below or if you would like a copy sent to you, please contact us. Appeals must be made in writing to the Adjudication Panel for Wales.

  • Notice of Appeal, where a standards committee determines that a person has failed to comply with the code of conduct of the relevant authority, that person can appeal against that decision to the Adjudication Panel for Wales.
